Colorado Springs Trails

Colorado Springs Trails

Colordo Springs lies at the base of the foothills leading into the Rocky Mountains. We are blessed with a wide range of terrain and a number of active groups working to develop this terrain into trails for runners, bikers and hikers.

I have tried to document some of the trails that I have explored and run on. In each trail description, I will try to provided directions to the trail head and descriptions of the trail. I will also provide a links to gps data, graphs, and pictures for each of the trails. As I refine my techniques and tools, these trail pages will change and evolve.

The trails will be found in the greater Colorado Springs Area. Going as far north as Larkspur and south to Fountain and Widefield. To the west I will range up into the foothills and areas around Pikes Peak.

Over time, these pages may evolve a new and better tools become available for display. Currently, I have some issue with the altitude profiles and will be looking for a better measure for this. I would also like to make the data more dynamic with it being driven from a database. Just a few things to keep me from getting bored between excursions into the wild...
